About John DiPrimio
Most locals know John DiPrimio for his terrific breakfasts, amazing soups, and for consistently delivering the best sandwiches in town. What many don’t know is that John’s talent and training allow him to serve up delicious dinner entrees on Friday and Saturday night, as well as cater events on premises or at your location.
John trained at the Culinary Institute of America, and went on to cook in several renowned restaurants, from Detroit to Napa Valley. He began his catering career with the esteemed Ridgewells Catering, before serving as executive chef at Drexelbrook catering for over fifteen years. John has catered both intimate events and lavish parties for thousands, and his VIP guest lists have included senators and presidents.
In 2007 John took over the Main Line Deli, which was already well known for great breakfasts and lunches. He transformed it into the Narberth Café by keeping the best of the old menu and adding some new twists. Now the Narberth Café still has family-friendly atmosphere and prices, but also offers weekend dinners and Narberth’s best catering. John prides himself on cooking from scratch with a Mediterranean flair, and for always using the freshest and best ingredients.
